NHS Livery Kitchen Initiative 2020

The Worshipful Company of Fruiterers are proud to support the “NHS Livery Kitchen Initiative”
The Grocers, Drapers and Merchant Taylors Companies together with Party Ingredients are doing a wonderful job in which the Fruiterers are proud to play their part.
Members of the Hackney Carriage Drivers Company are also driving chefs to work so that they can avoid using public transport.
Today’s delivery was a selection of 1500 pieces of fruit comprising of Apples, Pears, Oranges and Bananas to accompany the planned production of 500 meals each day during the current pandemic for distribution to hospitals within the “Barts Health NHS Trust”.
Continued support with further deliveries has been arranged.
